FAQ

Questions before you build a power system?

A few practical answers. Every final design should still be based on an actual load and site assessment.

How much solar do I need?

It depends on your daily energy use, peak load, operating hours, solar resource, battery autonomy and whether the system must operate during grid outages.

Can KsT install equipment I purchased elsewhere?

Yes, subject to technical compatibility, condition and safety requirements. We can assess the equipment before installation.

Is LiFePO4 suitable for home solar systems?

LiFePO4 batteries are commonly suitable for solar storage because of their cycle life and usable capacity, but the battery must be correctly sized and compatible with the inverter and BMS communication requirements.

Can a solar system run air conditioners, pumps and freezers?

Yes, but starting/surge demand matters. Motors and compressors can require significantly more power during startup, so inverter surge capability and system configuration must be checked.

Do you provide maintenance?

Yes. Maintenance and monitoring can be arranged according to the system and client requirements.

Where do you operate?

KsT serves clients in Ghana. Contact us with your location and project requirements so we can determine the appropriate service arrangement.
